Workplace Dignity: Palava Hut Style

At the Workplace Dignity Center, we believe in fostering a culture of respect and understanding in every workplace. Our Palava Hut approach encourages open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving, empowering both employees and employers to address disputes with dignity and integrity.

Co-working open space

Workplace Dignity Center (WDC) aspires to bring dignity-infused reconciliation efforts that foster respect to and for all proud Liberians in the workplace as well as in the resolution of business-to-business and governmental disputes.

The Center also fights against any indicia of forced labor and worker exploitation that deteriorates dignity in the employer-employee relationship. These concerns are especially perilous in more domestic areas of employment such as personal drivers, cooks, housekeepers, and guards.

WDC recognizes the immense importance of providing people with sustained remunerative employment, because this brings with it a sense of pride, purpose, dignity, and a sense of self-worth. These sentiments are at the center of what we do.

Through fundraising efforts for job creation, strategic partnerships, employee recruitment, training and development initiatives, and direct advocacy efforts, WDC Liberia helps develop a skilled, peaceful, and dignity-centered workplace.
